I'm now 15 weeks and a few days along. I'm glad to be getting in to my second trimester- this is apparently when I'll be getting my energy/appetite/life back. That'll be nice. I'm still feeling nauseous a good portion of the time, and getting sick, but not as much. I'll take it. So in light of leaving the first trimester behind, I thought I'd make a pro-con list about pregnancy:
Good things about being pregnant:
1. Getting a baby after 9 months!
2. Maternity pants.
Bad things about being pregnant:
1. Everything else.
I bought my first pregnancy book the other day. It's called Pregnancy Sucks: What to do When Your Miracle Makes You Miserable. I had no intention of actually buying the book, but after flipping through a few pages, it felt like I had finally found something that got where I was coming from. So for now, I enjoy reading it and feeling like I'm not the only one that has had a miserable pregnancy! I'm hoping in a few weeks I'll see the book lying around the house and wonder why I ever bought it in the first place because I feel great!! We'll see.
I have my next doctor's appointment next week, and should be finding out the baby's gender shortly after that. Very exciting stuff! I'm sure we'll get started working on the nursery and buying tons of cute clothes once we know we're having a boy or girl. Can't wait!
