Baby Girl,
We found out that you're going to be a sweet little girl- your aunt did the ultrasound a few weeks ago and told us that you'd be a girl. How special is that? We went to my doctor yesterday for your body scan ultrasound and the tech confirmed it- you're definitely a girl! I don't think anyone was more shocked than I was to see you on the screen and to learn that you were a girl. I was convinced I was having a boy since I found out we were pregnant, but had been thinking lately you might be a girl, because who else could cause me so much grief (extreme morning sickness, breakouts, etc). I hope that isn't an indication of my mother's intuition.
Your daddy is over the moon excited. You aren't even here yet, but don't worry, you already have him wrapped around your finger.
You were moving nonstop yesterday while the ultrasound tech was trying to take your measurements. I still don't feel you moving, but it looks like once I start feeling you, I'll be feeling you constantly. Go ahead and get all that energy out now so by the time you're born, you're ready for some naps, OK?
I'm about halfway through my pregnancy, so we will get to meet you in about twenty weeks. We. Can't. Wait. We can't wait to see what you look like, what kind of personality you'll have, and to dress you up in the most adorable clothes (yes, we already have some! I have a feeling our house will slowly but surely be covered in all things pink).
Your dad and I have been discussing baby girl names a ton for the past few weeks, but we can't seem to settle on one just yet. We mainly call you "baby" and "baby girl." Hopefully we'll come up with something a little more permanent soon!
Everyone can't wait to meet you.
We love you already,
Mom
